ADA Compliance Resources

By April 24, 2026, all websites, website-based applications, and mobile applications must meet WCAG 2.1 or 2.2 level A/AA. This resource hub equips faculty and staff with the tools and guidance needed to ensure course materials and websites are fully compliant.

CLAS aligns with UF brand standards for logos

The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and its respective units, are aligning with brand standards for logos and other branding set by the University of Florida’s Office of Strategic Communications and Marketing. This means that the logos that may have been in use for several years in CLAS have been retired and should no longer be used in any new materials.

Stockpress replaces Photoshelter as digital asset management platform

CLAS Communications has launched a new digital asset management platform called Stockpress. Stockpress replaced Photoshelter as an online resource for anyone needing brand assets, templates or photos.

Writing news or website updates for CLAS units? Here are some guidelines

The University of Florida generally follows Associated Press style for written communications, including posts on websites, text in brochures and news stories. We in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences follow suit.

CLAS moves to the Mercury WordPress theme

A broad effort is underway to shift more than 150 WordPress websites maintained within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences to the Mercury theme developed by the Office of Strategic Communications and Marketing along with UF Information Technology. This has several advantages over the legacy Emily theme that was created for CLAS in 2017 and now is a patchwork of outdated code that is not easily supported.
